To ALL WEBELOS II SCOUTS AND PARENTS 2008-2009
VISIT US -- AN INVITATION TO ALL
Boy Scout Troop One invites area Webelos II Scouts and their parents to a series of meetings and a field trip during the end of January and the beginning of February to introduce Webelos II Scouts to Troop One. The meeting and field trip dates are as follows:
Boy Scout Winter Lock-in
· January 17, 2009
· Boy Scout Lock-In. Jewish Community Center.
· Webelos IIs are invited from opening to midnight.
· Come swim, play games, eat and see a great campfire.
· If interested Contact Scoutmaster ASAP.
Space Exploration Fun, Build and Launch Rockets and a field trip to NASA
· Pick two nights and come to build rockets and then get a chance to launch them. We highly recommend the 6th and the 13th, but we can work with your schedule. If interested Contact Scoutmaster ASAP.
· Webelos that join get credit to the Space Exploration MB.
· Rockets and engines (for the 24th only) are free to Webelos IIs
· Come build a rocket on two of the following three nights
o Tuesday January 6, 2009 (our regular troop meeting, 7:30pm – 9:00 pm)
o Tuesday January 13, 2009 (our regular troop meeting, 7:30pm – 9:00 pm)
o Tuesday January 21, 2009 (our regular troop meeting, 7:30pm – 9:00 pm)

· Tuesday, February 3, 2009 Troop Swim at Copley HS. 7:30pm-9:00 pm. ($1 each)
