in the Old Portage District of the Great Trail Council, Boy Scouts of America

	On November 15, 2003 Marine and Eagle Scout and Congressional Medal of Honor Mitchell Paige passed on as so many from WWII have done.  On that day Troop One Akron was honored to be at the Eldred WWII Museum learning about this wonderful hero and Eagle Scout.  None of us who were there will forget our trip.  This is our way of letting the rest of our members know what we did on that day and help them experience the moment by being introduced to this hero and the many other heros of WWII highlighted at the Eldred WWII Museum.

• Paige said in the future he will wear two medals in public, the Eagle Scout pin and the Medal of Honor. "I would put them on par," he said. "One is for fighting for your country. The other is for upholding the law and becoming a great citizen."
