Tuesday April 3rd – For all that have paid $150 the next $75 is due

Tuesday April 17th – EVERYONE that is going on the AHT needs to be at this meeting We will cover:

  1. The Scouts will decide leadership, patrols, and ancillary roles. The acting SPL for this trip will then submit the final patrol andduty roster at the May 8th meeting
  2. Any boy truly interested in participating in the wreath laying at the Tomb of The Unknown Soldier must state his intent to do so at thismeeting and be willing to write a two (full and no double space) page paper on the history and meaning of the Tomb and what it means to beable to participate in the ceremony (due 05/08/2012). At the May 5th meeting the interested scout will hand in his essay and must come tothe meeting in a full and correctly decorated class A uniform to prove that he has one for the ceremony
  3. Answer any questions

Tuesday April 24th – Just the AHT committee will need to meet

Tuesday – May 8th – All SCOUTS that are going on the AHT needs to be at this meeting

  1. Those that have paid $225 the last $75 is due
  2. The acting SPL will submit the final patrol and duty roster
  3. The scouts interested in being one of three boys in the wreathlaying ceremony will submit their 2 page essays and stand forinspection of their full dress class A uniforms. At this time, if there are more than three scouts, we will let ALL the boys decide whata “proper” method would be to choose the three

Tuesday May 22nd - Just the AHT committee will need to meet

Tuesday June 5th - Just the AHT committee will need to meet

Tuesday June 19th – EVERYONE that is going on the AHT needs to be at this meeting

  1. Acting SPL will oversee standard pre camp out duties, i.e. tent buddies, gear prep, etc.
  2. Adults will determine driving and seating arrangements. Last minute changes?

Saturday June 23rd - depart for DC
